The
Valby skid-steer grapple has an opening of 50 inches, and its rotators have over 700 foot-pounds of torque. They require
two sets of hydraulic outlets from the skid-steer. One pair runs the
continuous rotator; the other pair opens and closes the jaws. This
attachment enables the skid steer to be used for moving, stacking and
loading chores on the landing, or in the yard. The skidding grapple is
equipped with a universal mounting plate. The skid Steer grapples are
of the modern bypass type. These grapples close to a tight minimum
opening. Movement of the logs during transport is minimized because the
grapple secures the log on the top, bottom, and both sides. A belly
plate protects the cylinder from underneath. The form of the claws
enables a smooth roll-in of the stems. |
